Kai's 9 months old now! While it took him awhile to settle in Kai is really starting to like living here on the campus. He's picked out a few favourite aunties and uncles and most of all, he's in love with the dog living here. It's so funny to hear him talk to the dog (who he calls Ba). His voice goes right up an octave like just like adults do when praising their pets! Along with saying "Ba" Kai's also started making the Sri Lankan tongue click noise that all the students here are making at him. He thinks it's quite funny and does it constantly! He's also started going "Oh boy oh boy" when he's sees the tabla being set out. We're not quite sure how he put those two together but it's really cute. He continues to call Amanda "Mama," and now calls Mike "Papa," since that's what everyone was calling him in India. Kai still understands some Hindi; if you ask about the "panka" he'll look up at the fan.
