We've gone swimming this week!
The first and second time were at the beach. Micaiah absolutely loves water in any form he had seen it yet...sprinklers, hoses, faucets, baths, showers, puddles, etc, and LOVES splashing in them. So we were sure he would LOVE the beach. Nope. He was terrified. He walked (holding our hands as he can't walk/stand fully on his own) towards the water, and when a tiny wave swept water slightly onto his foot, he broke down crying and crying.
The next day he was a little more at ease as mommy/Amanda splashed in the wave with him, and he likes splashing. He was still nervous, though, not a big fan.
Which takes us to the pool. The pool he ABSOLUTELY loved!! Especially funny was seeing Papa/Mike floating on his back. Holding Kai like he was backfloating was pretty funny for him too. :)
