Going for a stroll...

Micaiah loves going for walks around campus!
He especially loves to check out the donkeys and the new baby goat!
...and of course, the students!

Micaiah loves music!

Micaiah loves music!
He was singing, too, but you can't tell from this picture.

Some pictures from the school that we're at...

Here are a few pics of the campus that we're on...
This (above) is the chapel, where services are held daily.
(Prayer at 5 am, Morning Devotions at 8:30, Evening Bible Reading and Worship at 6:30).
(More on the Weekends).
Mike's classes are all there too, as the instruments generally stay in the chapel.
This is where the rest of the classes are held.

Above is the dining hall.

Here's the library...
...and Kai, checking out the stacks.

Swim Time!

We've gone swimming this week!

The first and second time were at the beach. Micaiah absolutely loves water in any form he had seen it yet...sprinklers, hoses, faucets, baths, showers, puddles, etc, and LOVES splashing in them. So we were sure he would LOVE the beach. Nope. He was terrified. He walked (holding our hands as he can't walk/stand fully on his own) towards the water, and when a tiny wave swept water slightly onto his foot, he broke down crying and crying.

The next day he was a little more at ease as mommy/Amanda splashed in the wave with him, and he likes splashing. He was still nervous, though, not a big fan.

Which takes us to the pool. The pool he ABSOLUTELY loved!! Especially funny was seeing Papa/Mike floating on his back. Holding Kai like he was backfloating was pretty funny for him too. :)

9 Months Old!

Kai's 9 months old now! While it took him awhile to settle in Kai is really starting to like living here on the campus. He's picked out a few favourite aunties and uncles and most of all, he's in love with the dog living here. It's so funny to hear him talk to the dog (who he calls Ba). His voice goes right up an octave like just like adults do when praising their pets! Along with saying "Ba" Kai's also started making the Sri Lankan tongue click noise that all the students here are making at him. He thinks it's quite funny and does it constantly! He's also started going "Oh boy oh boy" when he's sees the tabla being set out. We're not quite sure how he put those two together but it's really cute. He continues to call Amanda "Mama," and now calls Mike "Papa," since that's what everyone was calling him in India. Kai still understands some Hindi; if you ask about the "panka" he'll look up at the fan.
