Since Aunt Ashley works at the airport, she doesn't get Christmas off.

But, she got last week instead! So we had Christmas morning on Saturday!!!

Ashley and Micaiah were excited to finally meet each other too!

Four months old, and turning pages...

So he's now officially 4 months old...

...and he loves turning the pages in books already!!!

Fun in Vocalization and Brass!!

We had fun with vocalizations today!! Just listen to how much fun he has when I do vocal sirens!! It really sounds like I'm tickling him or something, but no, he just finds it REALLY funny, and tries out some new sounds of his own too!

Yesterday he got to listen to a trumpet! His favorite song on it seemed to be Stars & Stripes Forever by Sousa (he loves it when I sing it to him too), though daddy's chops didn't like that as much as it's been a while since he's played...so after that we played a lot of much deeper Christmas music.

Yay!!

Today we went to a potluck at the Martins, and afterwards got to go on a wagon ride to a few of the farms in the area!

The Funny Sticker

The sticker on the side of the baby swing that says "3 Position Adjustable Toybar" is apparantly both fascinating and hillarious!! Kai spent at least 15 minutes looking at it, laughing at it, talking to it, and being just plain amused by it! Here's a short video of his cute & funny little chirp of a laugh as he looks at the sticker.

They say that at the early stages children first start really looking at and appreciating black against white and huge contrasts like that; I guess this is proof - the sticker is just plain black & white with a small arrow in it too - and it's apparantly fascinating!!

He's Now 2 Months Old!!!
